Group/sort playlists/albums/artists/genres into folders

This is the only thing holding me back from joining Deezer, I have far too many playlists!

This is the number one reason I will be leaving Deezer. Transferred all my music here, love the AI policing, excellent catalog, good music quality.

But I have 150+ playlists! Not being able to sort them into folders and not being able to see them all in the left toolbar are major breaking points for me. It’s too hard to find the music I want. I’m out.

I am desperate for folders - I left Spotify for ethical reasons, but I had such a good organisation system there and I sorely miss it. Folders would make Deezer perfect.

I’m sorry Deezer, but I’ve cancelled my subscription renewal. I really wanted to love the service, seriously. But I actively hate using your app more than I hate avoiding AI garbage elsewhere and, frankly, taking the time to avoid AI garbage elsewhere helps connect me to the music in my library and my recommendations even more, whereas trying to deal with the abysmal library and playlist setup in deezer just disconnects me from it all. 

Maybe customers like me aren’t who deezer is trying to connect with, and that’s fine. I wish that weren’t the case though, as I truly would support the service and shout its praises from the rooftop if I didn’t hate using it so much. 

If that changes some day in the future, well, then I’ll come back. And hopefully maintain an even longer subscription than I ever had with spotify or rhapsody/napster. But until then, I simply have to say goodbye.

How difficult can it be??? Or does Spotify own the rights for the source code lol

8 years?! I just started my free trial to check if I want to use deezer instead of spotify but if I cannot organise all my playlists then the free trial is all its gonna be and I'll look for something else. Huge gap imo.

I am not a big playlist user. I use my library 99% of the time.

So I don’t need folders. I need on-the-fly filters by genre on the Favorites tabs, especially the Albums and Artists tabs. The genre selection should be multi-select (obviously), searchable and, hopefully, with sub-genres as well.

I can’t believe this concern is 8 years old! Wow! Please listen, Deezer staff!

I was a mixtape kid. I need the ability to organize my playlists! I love listening to full albums but my taste is all over the place, and to fully enjoy a music app, I need to be able to sort my albums and 426 (and growing) playlists! This is the single feature that will cause me to move on. I’m so disappointed. 

why is this a specific request for classical music? take e.g. the fall of the house of usher by alan parsons project. Who would want to listen to those 5 tracks in a different order?

I really want to move from spotify to deezer with my whole family, as you support less known artists way better. The only two things that are keeping us is the possibility to sort playlists into folders and the ability to sort your playlists into your own order. with > 100 playlists, it is almost impossible to get a fast overview on your music

Hello! I’d love for this feature to be added, it’s very inconvenient to navigate my playlists without folders since I have so many, please don’t ignore this suggestion!

Not sure if it has been mentioned in this idea already, but you can at least pin up to eight items like your favorite playlists to the top of your home page on mobile and to the left sidebar on the desktop app and web player now. The feature is called Quick Access. A folder option for playlists would surely be better if you have many, but pinning them might help.

Also note that the playlist tab in your favorites offers three options to sort your playlists and has a search option as well which searches for terms in the playlist title:
