Group/sort playlists/albums/artists/genres into folders

Coming from Spotify, I really miss this feature :(

This is an absolute showstopper for me. I just imported my data from Spotify and it’s unmanageable with Deezer. I have 140 playlists, a ton of them are audio dramas that belong to the same artists.

It’s a shame that this hasn’t been implemented in 6 years. I know that adding folders can be a major refactoring and data migration, but not multiple years.

I find it hard to believe that this request has been ongoing for six years. While not essential, in today's world of streaming services, what distinguishes one service from another is not the number of tracks or the quality of the files, as these are usually similar across different services. The user experience is what truly matters, as the small details can either drive a user crazy or make them love the app. With so much music available at our fingertips, it would be great to have the ability to sort and categorize it according to our preferences. One easy way to do that is by using folders. Spotify, Tidal, and Apple Music already allow their users to utilize folders, which is why I strongly believe that Deezer should do the same.

I understand your desire for the folder feature, but at this moment, it's not in our plans to add it.

However, your feedback is valuable to us as we continuously work to improve our service.

We'll keep your suggestion in mind as we explore ways to improve the Deezer experience for all our users.

Just created my Deezer account.

Imported some of my Spotify playlists… and now… i realize Deezer does not have folders????

SERIOUSLY? 

This is a joke right? I must be missing something here, such a simple but neccesary functionality is not here? 

Oke, i guess my month trial is not gonna be extended then.

Well apparently this is going on for about 6 years!!! now.

So, words like “improve” and ‘valuable to us’ we are gonna take with a grain of salt here.

Even the first version of Windows back in the 90s had something simple and basic as folders in their first release.

How about tags instead/in addition to folders? This way, each playlist can have multiple attributes and users just need to filter for the tag they are interested in for the moment. I am considering to leave Deezer again without tags or folders for playlists.
