Hello guys,

Just got a Google Home Max and I was so excited to play my favourite Deezer playlists just by asking until I realise Google Home is not supported by Deezer in switzerland. I have seen this subject has been around For a while now in different countries. What is the timeline to get this up and working in Switzerland?

It is @Troy.Tudor , very important indeed. And I agree it would've been a shame to see you go.

As community managers, we frequently reach out to our product managers and devs. But unfortunately when it comes to partnerships it's hard to give an estimate because things may vary quite quickly.
All I can say is that I'm hopeful we'll have some nice updates about Google Home in the next few months. We're not turning a blind eye to this at all, and we agree with our users that we should be available where the device is available. At the end of the day, it also generates us income, so there's no reason to be against it.

And to you I can say a big thank you for reporting to us and being patient, as best as you can.

I see that Deezer is still not functional on Google Home ... after 9 months .....

Where in the process are you stuck? you should be able to explain?
Does google has no priority on it or are there some extra requirements deezer has to fulfill to be able to serve in switzerland?

If you do not explain, ppl will just leave. Voice commands are important today.
if ppl can support deezer somehow (and also if it is just a comment in the google forum if such thing exists?) then let us know.

Thank you for your support. Our product managers have recently informed us that our integration with Google Home in more countries doesn’t depend on us, but on Google themselves. We’ve been working hard for the past couple of years to improve this, but ultimately it is down to Google to choose which global partners to have on their devices. Thank you for your understanding on this.

Well I see this thread is now 4 years open and it still doesn’t work. So for me the case is clear I will switch to Spotify… a little disappointing as I have to create new playlist and everything but a new start is sometimes something good too.
