It's about time to link Deezer with Google Home in the Netherlands. Otherwise you are at risk to lose customers to Spotify!

Also you must take a look at the link to Deezer that is used in the HEOS app. This needs improvement because it has limited possibilities. Take a look at the Spotify connexion!

Or............ Make it also possible to stream direct to WIFI boxen.

    Thank you for your support. Our product managers have recently informed us that our integration with Google Home in more countries doesn’t depend on us, but on Google themselves. We’ve been working hard for the past couple of years to improve this, but ultimately it is down to Google to choose which global partners to have on their devices. Thank you for your understanding on this.

      Any update on this?

      Google has said they'll be deploying a big quality of life / improvement update to Google Home/Nest devices within the next few months, very likely switching out Google Assistent with Gemini.

      Has Deezer been able to determine whether the update might include a way in which we can finally have our desired integration?

        Why is Deezer (for Google Home) not available in the Netherlands?? 🤔 😭

        Why does Deezer not work in the Netherlands? Belgium, French, and German are working even though Dutch worked over 2 years. Why did it stop, and can it come back? I get the Dutch language could cause issues. But 70% are bilingual in all already supported languages. So bring it back, please. 🥺 Looking forward to a working environment.

        Then it works in cars, homes all over the country. It would mean so much in the adoption of the service in 2026. I'm happy to help with testing in Dutch. Now with the update to Gemini, it will make it a perfect device upgreade. 

        (You can connect your account through a German VPN.) Then you can use the service when in a supported country. 

        Only issue I've had in the past years. It tend to prefer the live over studio versions.

        As far as I know, it's not Deezer's fault, it's Google not granting them access to the Dutch market. Their ecosystem already includes their own product (Youtube Music) and the global leader Spotify, but yeah it's weird how all surrounding countries have Deezer and The Netherlands doesn't.
