Get notified about new releases of my favourite artists

Not a notification, but at least a weekly playlist. Not available for everyone yet, but probably soon.

Wanted to see some news feed of new releases of artists what I liked. Or make notifications on addition on artist page or playlist and all notifications like that in one place. I'm talking about feature like Stream on SoundCloud service. 

Anyway, thanks for great music experience!

I still use spotify becuase it lets me know when a new album is out. I dont want to listen to bunch of new somegs in a mix. I want to see an artist has a new album out and listen in its entirety.

I understand that you don't want to rely on notifications, but I've moved your comment here so that it can be looked into by the team who work on this - even if it's for an icon. I must say it's a good suggestion as well, so I've marked your reply here as a break in the topic

I have something to suggest.

I follow 152 artists and It feels terrible to me to check every artist to know if they made a new song or if they were featured in a new song.

I know there’s a special playlist but I don’t like it, it’s not visual enough. And I know there’re notifications but It’s not correctly working on my phone, I missing a lot of releases.

Why not doing a feed with artists I follow ? A bit like other social networks.

Like this :

“Artist A has released a new song”

“Artist B has released a new album”

“Artist C appears in a new song from Artist D”

“Artist E remixed a song from Artist F”

And also for announcements :

“Artist A will release an album on 1st january”

“Artist B will release a single on 1st january”

It will appears as a publication, and anyone can (with emojis) like, love, laugh, chill.

Please do something, I love Deezer but I think it’s the only missing and BORING point. Missing new songs is so frustrating.

This is one of the reasons why I chose Deezer: it immediately notifies you of new releases and you can listen to the new track very first. Now this is not, but the releases are continuing! I have configured all the options for notifications for this application.
