Get notified about new releases of my favourite artists

Yes, I was looking for the same thing this morning.

Remembered one of my (tracked as) favorite artists had an upcoming album, because I saw that on their artist page some time ago. Really a coincidence I remembered that info again... If this information about upcoming / just released albums and songs would be surfaced on the frontpage or some other easily accessible place would be so valuable.

In a version 2 of this idea, it could be helpful to extend the favorite option to be gradual, as I do have "favorite" music in my collection that I don't consider favorite anymore, but still want to keep in my collection because of legacy. So maybe a separate "track artist" option would be helpful.

Few years ago they already had a feature (nearly) like this and I still have my personal hyperlink to this module. There I can see the "Picked for you" albums, which includes all favorite artists plus additional artists (100 albums ordered by relevance for the 2-4 weeks, I think).
Since some time (maybe 3 years) i can't navigate to this site from the normal gui. So I'm pretty happy to still have the direct link. It would be nice to have this link back on the main home page, because accept the "flow" (which is pretty good for personnal single songs) all other shown feature are way to much based on the listening habits of the common user, therefor irrelevant for myself.

+1 for this feature. It's unnecessary hard to monitor for new releases, a few dedicated apps for this have gone out of business and the options on Android are non-existent.

It's also a differentiator to Spotify as this is one of their most demanded popular features that's simply not done.

It's our feature "Hear This" which has been removed - we're working on giving this an update but it's taking longer than usual.

I would expect that I am in any way notified of new content from an artist that I have marked as favorite at either the album, song or artist level. Currently I get zero notifications and have to periodically scan metacritic for new releases - not an amazing experience.

Also I'm not super concerned with what method this notification is implemented. A tab on the app(s), an email, a push notification, I'm not bothered, I just want a source to discover new music from artists I have favorited.

I think it would be cool if the app notifies you when an artist you listen to releases new music.

I was about to suggest the same thing.
Deezer should have a special section dedicated to find all the new releases from the artist you have in your library, this releases should be unfiltered... to make sure you don't miss any release.
This also could/should work through notifications in your profile
