Hello, I've tried Deezer for a couple of months and it sounds amazing and the UI is great, but there are some things I'd like improved considering the price.

Better song algorithm

I'd like the algorithm to be refined, I know it probably won't be as good as Spotify but I really do believe and trust that it can be a lot better

Swipe gestures

I honestly thought this was already a feature but unfortunately it's not please add the ability to swipe to add to queue, swipe to delete (WITH CONFIRMATION), tapping a song while there's a queue should confirm before playing and swiping the currently playing song to skip or go to previous.

Gemini Extension

I use android and Gemini is awesome, please add an extension so I can tell Gemini to play music, this is a requirement for me as I typically like to do things hands free.

That's all, that's all I'm asking for I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and I expected to see these features in the next beta, I'm loving this app and I don't want to move just because of these basic features lacking.

Thanks for your feedback @Jayjay_is_that_you great suggestions.
I have not tried Gemini yet but I’ve read cool things about it.
I’ll pass your feedback to our devs and hopefully many users vote for this idea.

Thank you I figure this is a quality of life improvement that should be added, and I'd appreciate the devs implementing these features.

Agreed, a Gemini extension would be really great. Without that one need to stay with Google Assistant to control music which is a shame given the power of IA.

Deezer is such a great app. I really like the “shuffle musics aka flow” based on your style. Not sure though why sometimes it keeps repeating the same songs over and over again while there are millions of songs that could potentially be suggested.

On top of that, Deezer must be compatible with Gemini. Why is it always so slow to implement new features? When it was Google Assistant, it took a while until the feature was built in for voice command. Now, with Gemini same story, taking ages to get the feature running.

I have been using Deezer for years, but it is always like this for Android users. It is very tiring to wait so long.

Same case, thinking about moving to a tooling compatible with gemini

Any news here? Still can't use deezer hands-free in my car without Gemini integration.

So since then I switched back to spotify and now their price increase (more expensive than Deezer now, with lower bit rate mind you), and horrible UI made me, come back to Deezer, and still none of these suggestions have been implimented?

The only new thing I see is an option to change the app theme? Come on it's been a year! Deezer connect is a story for another day with how unsuable it is on connected devices, socially Deezer isn't even considered, the least you could do for us is provide feedback or a roadmap of when we can expect these features or know what's being prioritized.

I can't even consider Apple Music because it's not even supported on WearOS firstly and Gemini, please can we at least get the intergration to at least be able to get music controls hands free.

At the weekend my phone seems to have been forced to use Gemini, I no longer have the option to switch back to Google Assistant.
And now I can’t control my music unless I use YouTube Music or Spotify, which after many years of being able to simply say something like “OK Google, play [song title]...” is absolute rubbish. If I’m cooking (for example) I don’t want to have to pick up my phone and scroll to the app just to be able to interact with it.

How soon will this be fixed, or is it time to jump ship back to another platform?

I figured I’d just deal with it at this point, Deezer is now cheaper than Spotify while offering HiFi Lossless quality, I think I’d rather deal with not having Gemini integration than deal with Spotify’s intrusive UI which apparently advertises long form videos on my Spotify Premium subscription, and Apple Music doesn’t have WearOS support for my Galaxy Watch, maybe next month I’ll give Tidal a try but Gemini Home is missing from that, while at least Deezer still has that

Update: Algorithm seems to have gotten better though, and I think to go along with the new theming options we should have Material 3 support, so the theme changes dynamically based on the system theme and wallpaper, having an adaptive theme would (In my opinion) make more sense than just having few colour options, instead have an option to leave it to the phone’s theme to decide what colour the application is.
