Gapless playback between tracks

Why not try the webplayer, there’s not much difference in the layout, although you may have the facility to download tracks using the app on windows etc…... you can’t do that on the webplayer, but I personally would rather have the ability to play gapless albums if they have been recorded that way.

What is it to you which player I use? I’d like gapless playback on the desktop app.

It’s pretty hard to get your knickers in a twist when you’re wearing them. 😂

On a serious note KDAM71…. Deezer has been dragging their heels for years on this subject. I have been on at Deezer for a couple of years to have gapless playback on all platforms. As you are already  aware the webplayer and Android can now play gapless (that took years)  but for some reason they have not implemented it on the desktop app which is APPALLING.

I use picoreplayer with Logitech Media Server on a raspberry pi 5 and Deezer plays gapless, the one thing it can’t do is play the desktop app on the Chromium/Firefox browsers….it’s not compatible with the Linux OS.

But that’s another subject.

@KDAM71 I would love to have exciting news for you, but to we don’t have an ETA for gapless on desktop app yet.
​​​@coypu mentioned, some features take longer than others to be implemented depending on priorities.

@Jaime. - What are the “priorities” as far as development is concerned? - we always get told when a feature isn’t possible, but how about telling us what you are actually working on? - some sort of roadmap for the development of the service would be good!

@Jaime.  I’m also interested in developments on the mix feature and the don’t recommend feature.
