There should be no gap between tracks running into each other. This is a basic thing for the listeners experience.

Hi @Rudi

the link is corrupt or dead end :)

I'm a "Deezerhead" (fanboy) and just love music! (Please note even though I love all things Deezer I do not work for Deezer and therefore cannot assist with account issues etc.)

Dear deezer pls you guy need to add cross fade to your music player so it can cross fade the music in a way u won't notice its playing single tracks. Also my issue is when subscription end and I can't pay at the moment my paid music should not be blocked from my access. I should be able to play them till I subscribe to a new premium Cox u made me pay for it before downloading so I should have it to place but in my case when u try to play it will say subscribe first or u can't play any of your old music.

The end of the year is almost here taking into account the holidays season. Are there any news? I had to switch to the other service in order to listen to the dark side of the moon. I'm in the process of choosing between Deezer and the other service. And this has been a setback. A minor one since I have found this thread.

P. S. The thread seems to be about directly playing to some DAC. BUT it should also work while using the Chromecast tech.

Hey there @udy

We're also waiting to hear back about this. It could be delayed for the New Year. But we know it's been worked on for quite some time now.

Thanks for your support and understanding :thumbsup_tone2:

Definitely a huge deal breaker to me. After so many months and years we’re still waiting for something so basic. Deezer and Tidal are still the only one music providers without this more-than-needed feature. I’m sorry @Rudi but I will not considering  Deezer anymore until this feature will be properly implemented.

Hi @Rudi,

thank you for your effort!

Could Deezer give us a hint on what is so difficult to solve this? I’m in programming/coding but I really can’t imagine. Maybe, the community could help.

It makes me angry to see the android app frontend changed twice in 2019, but not solved gapless playback.

Hey @Lorenzo  @Saschimi ! I am really sorry and I can understand your frustration, yet implementing features or approving new ones is not that easy as it seems and in some cases it’s a process which might need a loner time. I can hear you and I hope that this feature will be approved with the new year. Please make sure you keep on following this thread for further updates.

Thanks a lot for your patience :pray_tone3:
