Just do it. 😉 Might be a Premium feature perhaps if it costs too much server space and/or bandwidth. And please add internal Last.fm scrobbling to uploaded files, too (works with browser extension Web Scrobbler in the Deezer web player which cannot stream FLAC though). Would be great if we could listen to these FLAC files in any device as well, not only in the desktop app which allows HiFi streaming.

Google Play Music and Amazon Music allow this as well, but convert them to MP3 afterwards, not sure about Tidal or Apple Music (with ALAC files), Spotify cannot upload any files anyhow, only play local files on your device:

    This feature is the 45th most voted.

    The first, most voted feature (which ofc Spotify has already), with more than 1360 votes, is for increasing the playlist size limit. And we've been waiting foooor 8 years and counting.

    So, good luck waiting for this one to be implemented lol.

    So almost nothing ever gets done?

     

    Play size limit would be an easy fix. Why haven't Deezer done it when everyone else has ?

     

    Is there a published roadmap or some way of knowing what new features are being worked on or on the way?

    It would be nice to upgrade this function to not only allow us to upload in different file formats, but also make it easy to organize our uploaded music, have the ability to upload via mobile apps, and provide clear status updates when uploads are completed. It just feels like this functionality has barely been taken care of.
