WASAPI Exclusive is a must for Deezer HIFI.

Exclusive mode with true bitperfect support, use ASIO drivers if possible. Tidal and Qobuz do bitperfect, come on Deezer! :)

I literally canceled my Premium subscription because this core feature is missing.  Will be back as soon as bit perfect exclusive mode is (properly) supported.

What a surprise that Deezer don't have such feature, even to have Hifi quality doesn't make sense either. I also think that you should put this on the top of your priority list, otherwise you will lose a selected top customers.

This is sound quality 101, can't wait for Spotify to go HIFI.

Same story and bump.

I’d love to recommend Deezer to myself and my friends but not when there’s no support for USB DAC like even basics Dragonfly USBs.

I’ll back with subscription when this functionality will be supported - otherwise as other said. Premium/Hifi quality is useless.

I can't believe this isn't supported?!!!! I did what a lot here did and started with deezer while keeping Spotify going for the family, to find out I can't use an external DAC seems to defeat the point of a premium service.

Back to tidal then.

this is disappointing. over 2 years and nothing. I guess I’ll check out qobuz. it’s a shame since I really like Deezer

I’m back to Qobuz. Deezer still doesn’t have exclusive mode feature.

LOL. 3 years later and you guys still can’t support this feature, even though it is the most voted topic “in discussion”. Thankfully Tidal dropped MQA and lowered their prices. I really wanted to support you guys, but when the competition is both cheaper and better and still manages to pay their artists more, the choice is obvious.

Yeah, it’s so sad that Deezer let everyone pass them by. Thanks for the heads up about the Tidal changes.  😂

Deezer team what are you thinking about? Its hi-fi sub scam! We give you flac but you cant hear this because we not supported DAC. Its like buy water without bottle. Jesus Christ its my fault to pay for year sub and i cant fully use DAC. I never again spend money for deezer sub . Move to qobuz

Just canceled by Deezer subscription over this. Now using Qobuz, which is a bit more expensive. But I can use USB Audio Player + Qobuz with my Fiio DAC on my android phone.

Hi @evraamsdonk, thanks for sharing your feedback.

We're sorry to hear you’ve cancelled your subscription, but we understand your needs are important.

Currently, Deezer doesn't natively support external USB DACs, but I'll make sure your feedback is passed along to the team.

If you ever decide to give us another shot, we'll be here—and constantly working to improve!

Enjoy your music with new platform! 🎶

Same here. I’ll be canceling my free trial and wait another year. Qobuz has excellent external DAC support on MacOS, so I’ll stay with that. You guys should really consider implementing this feature.

I was with Deezer for many many years. I loved almost everything. But after trying Qobuz in dac exclusive mode, I had no other choice than to to cancel my Deezer family subscription. I would love to come back sometimes.

This is music streaming service. The music and and also technical quality of its streaming should be priority. Without eclusive dac mode it can not be the best and sadly the difference can be heard.

I am sad about leaving Deezer, but I really had no other choice.

I agree with you @Jan108  When you have a DAC and good headphones/speakers, it's not spectacular, but you can certainly notice the difference. I notice it especially in the depth of the songs. It's also true that Deezer has very good quality, and let's face it, I think the app is more comprehensive than Qobuz's. Although it also has the option of record labels, which Deezer doesn't have... In the end, what you have on one side, you lose on the other.…

Yes, Deezer app is very good, one of the best if not the best. It would be waste of potential if it stays with inferior sound quality though.

Sí, la aplicación Deezer es muy buena, una de las mejores, si no la mejor. Sin embargo, sería un desperdicio de potencial si se quedara con una calidad de sonido inferior.

Totalmente de acuerdo
