I want to remove R and B from the music type I like. I mistakenly chose it. Coming from Tidal this is the last thing I want from Deezer.

Hey @Carlos Bustos ! I'm afraid we don't have a function which automatically blocks a whole genre and all artists connected to that music scene :/

However, you can definitely improve your flow by adding more content - albums, artists, songs - into your favorites. To avoid songs you don't like, use the ban button. Tap on it and this song will not be played for the next 24 hours. If you do this three times, Flow will not play it again. Your social media profiles can also affect your flow. If you've linked your Deezer account to your Facebook profile, your favorite songs and artists will automatically appear in your artists. Please also check this https:// https://support.deezer.com/hc/de/articles/201331091-Flow if you have further questions.

Likewise, I recommend you to select artists you don't like, click on the 3 dots and on the "ban" button.

Last but not least: a feature which blocks a whole genre would definitely help, so I invite you to submit this great idea here. We look forward to it 🙂

How can I block Deezer Rap editor, to not see Rap playlist in recommended playlists? I am very sorry, but I mostly hate this genre.

Sorry you feel that way. At the moment it isn't possible to block a genre but what you can do is to use the feature 'don't recommend this artist' by visiting the artists' page. Hope it helps :thumbsup_tone2:

yes please add this feature. I sometimes listed to electronic music as white noise while I work. My Flow is unplayable as it interjects the rock and grunge I want to listen to with techno!

If you are on a mobile Deezer app, you should already be able to choose the preferred genre for Flow, see the related announcement a few months ago. It will take more time to offer this on the web player and desktop app, but it’s also planned, as far as I know.

Hi @RHP, you can't change the favourites genres after you selected them when signing up, but I'll move your topic to our ideas forum so that our devs can look at it. Also that way it will be more visible to other users and they'll have the opportunity to vote for your idea. 😉

It’s been 5 years since it’s been in your ideas Forum. I don’t know why it is not possible to block the music style in your Recommendations/Flow. I’ve blocked more than 200 artists and 1000 songs of Banda music style and it still appears on my flow.
