Desktop App - [Mac OS / OSX} Magic Bar Support

I know the desktop app is still in Beta. It's pretty good already, but would be great if you add support for the magic bar to start, stop and skip tracks like iTunes and Spotify.

Even the not official Google Play Music app supports it! So I think it's an easy job to do.

A broader idea is to add at least a tray icon to control the flow so I don't have to always jump to the interface to skip tracks.

        Im really looking forward to have this working once and for all.

         

        How hard can it be? Every other streaming service integrates fully with the OS. Deezer is great, but sometimes fails big on little stuff.

         

        Details matter and failing a detail spoils a very good job.

        Thank you for sharing with us - I completely get you @Rgallego. But it isn't about being hard, just about squeezing it in with the other features everyone needs with the resources we have :wink:

          Version 4.22 and this is still not working!

           

          I should remind you that you advertise this on your website but it hasnt worked for months.

           

           

           

          It seems to me like false advertisement.

           

          This impacts also apple watch functionality.

           

          Can we please have an update on this? what are your developers doing?

            We advertise hotkeys support, which is indeed available - Magic Bar support is different, it's the MacBook Pro's touchbar - this requires additional development from us in order to work. I hope you understand and have also subscribed to the topic, so as soon as we get this sorted, you can give us another go :nerd:

            Thanks for keeping up on this topic. I wouldn´t be complaining if I was using the free version of Deezer. I have a family subscription for over 3 years and we all have macs at home. The way I see it is that your product is now defective and I should have some compensation for this.

             

            Please escalate this to your developers. It´s unacceptable that Mac users cannot use their harrdware in full with your product,

             

            All other competitors allow this.
