Deezer for Samsung watches

I would love to see Deezer having smart watch apps as I have been considering to purchase the gear sport as a fitness watch for the gym, but came to the sad realization that Deezer does not have a smart watch app currently. I would have to resort to Spotify or download music on the watch. For the app I would love for it to have a very basic yet rich interface which makes it easy to get around to your favourites along with recommendations normally seen. Please do this for all the customers who enjoy the Deezer app and wish to continue doing so.

Seriously hate to respond to this again, but I just want to share that this is still something that would be so much appreciated. As of right now, Samsung watches are still the best smart watches available on the android platform, and we can only access very basic bluetooth controls from Deezer. And I'm not sure if there's a permissions issue, but the deezer app takes a very long time to connect to the watch's bluetooth software compared to google play music, so it's a pretty lame situation all around.

Just having the ability to select the playlist from the watch would be a huge improvement over what we have now. A lot of people (i say this as a gym-goer and an office worker) would like to be able to keep their phones in their bags or pockets and select playlists, albums, particular songs, flow, etc from the watch. It does not need to be a fully featured, download-music-to-the-watch approach out of the gate - just a controller for the phone's music would be awesome.

I was about to buy a Fitbit Versa for the Deezer integration, but I saw that you guys did a sort of backwards approach, where the music HAS to be downloaded to the watch to be able to select it. You'd have to fall back to the "start the music from the phone and then use the bluetooth controller" method that we currently have on the Samsung watches. And our personal uploaded music can't be sync'd to the watch. Considering how few songs can be downloaded to the watch at once, I really don't think that is a preferable alternative, so I will be passing on the Versa. :(

Deezer is my music platform of choice, but the lack of Galaxy watch support is enough to temporarily relocate. I resubscribed to spotify to hold out until a new wave of android watches (with the new qualcomm chips) come out in December. Maybe a good android watch will finally come out. Fingers crossed. 😣
