I would like an dark theme to this app

Seriously, I really don't get how a developper who spends thousands of hours behind his screen could have build this app without a dark mode. It should be the default mode! For me it's unacceptable for this kind of service.
It's 2018 !! Almost 2019 !! Wake up !!!
And don't tell us it's difficult ! Anyone with basic knowledge of how the stylish plugin works can make a dark theme for the deezer site. I don't see why it would be so difficult for the original devs.

I just started my trial for the 20€ Hifi subscription and I already unsubscribed because there is no way I'm using this windows app without a dark theme.

Bitte undbedingt einen Dark/Night Mode einführen, nicht nur für die APP sondern auch als PC Version!

It requires quite a bit of technical work which is why we can't give you an approximate ETA just yet.

Not really! It's actually semi-easy to hack by going into the main Deezer app file (/Applications/Deezer.app/Resources/app.asar) and search-replacing all #FFF to any other color, such as #333 for instance and replacing #000 with #DDD. It does break several things visually because you really need to make the whole thing look good, not just replace white with black and vice versa, and every new update will overwrite the changes. There's no separate style file with the app which is a shame, I bet some creative people amongst us would've come up with a proper stylesheet already.

The asar file can be unpacked but it has a ton of styles that are impossible to change by hand.

How is dark mode not a thing yet? This wouldn't take much to do. It would take much less than anything else you are doing with the desktop app. Some of us do not tolerate white screens well. I pay for this service and can't stand to look at the desktop app which I use often. When will this happen? There are other posts asking for this!

Lmfao, it's been requested since a year, and event that it should have been added long time ago. It's a no brainer adding a dark/night theme, we shouldn't even have to ask for it. it's 2019 ffs.

This makes the bright white screens very uncomfortable.

Sigh problems is one of, if not the, biggest disabilities in the world today.

There are many reasons to provide alternative themes.

Maybe there is a desire to copy Apple and it-s minalmalistic white and faintest grey text.
Give me android any day because of this.

Dare to be different and stop copying Apple.

Please provide alternative themes.

Hi there, it would be very nice if you can add custom css file so that web app has dark theme. It is very hard to look at the white screen during the night. 🙂

I enjoy every app that supports dark mode, because i have OLED displays that doesnt consume that much energy with a darker theme. Id like to be implemented this mode at least on mobile devices. A toggle with dark mode on/off feature would be awesome!

Themes of different colours for the app or at least night mode getting dark

Here comes quobuz to the USA. If their desktop app has a dark mode it's a no brainier. Everyone has music it's how you present it and add value to it and support your users that will retain your users. Deezer is falling behind in at least one area. Better turn it around.
