Create support for Amazon Echo / Alexa

I installed a amazon echo for my sonos. Any idea when it will Work with Deezer?

It would be great if we can use Deezer on Amazon Echo / Alexa. Echo already supports some other music competitors (like Spotify). Deezer is missing out!

Is Deezer going to integrate with Alexa? I bought a Sonos One and my 3 month Amazon Music trial has finished and I really don't want to leave Deezer for Amazon Music.

today -after more than 3 yrs. - I ended my deezer subscription due to the lack of support for alexa and car Play.

I'am disappointed that Deezer is obviously not going to connect to my new best freinds: Alexa and my Hyundai Ioniq Electric
I prefer the deezer app a hundred times over spotify, but I am not going to dump my car or my home automation system, so I would say:
'Deezer, join the future or be in the history books as something of the stone age........'

Switched to Spotify (which I really don't like) just for its Echo Skill - My kids love it.

I would really like to get back to Deezer as soon as the echo skill is available.

Yep, don't want to, but going to pull the plug and move to Spotify or Amazon if we don't get Alexa support in weeks or a decent response here in days. It's killer controlling music by voice while working out.

On a related note, just got Alexa support on my Canadian Sonos. Playing music from Spotify on the Sonos = sweetness. Now I have one more reason to ditch Deezer in absence of any meaningful roadmap for Alexa support or support by Alexa (whatever). When the promo Spotify runs out, dropping Deezer for Spotify. I never understand why it is so difficult for companies to communicate effectively with their users. Fear of negative reaction to possible missed dates??? How about the certain/existing negative reaction to absence of communications?

My Sonos one sounds better than my Echo Plus, so I'm using it more and more. Hopefully (haven't looked) there is some service to convert my Deezer playlists to Spotify, that would make switching easier.

Deezer is now listed in the Alexa app. However, when I tried to activate, it says not available due to geographic restrictions (I'm in the USA), despite the announcement saying it's available here. What gives?

I read about flac while Streaming via Sonos. I mostly use deezer offline. Do I get also a better Quality when I download to my Smartphone ?

Hi there, sorry for the delayed response. Flac is currectly not availabe for Deezer on Alexa, but we've already pass this feedback on and hope that this will change in the future! 🤞🏽
