if i pause the player
it must remain paused
when clicking the next button.
you are spending a lot of bandwidth
by switching from paused to playing,
everytime i press “next”.
it should only play, when
the user finds the right
next right song,
and press play.
it is also good for browsing shuffled songs
faster without having to play every one
of each random song.

Indeed, this is the intended behaviour as when a user uses the skip button forward or backward the player will automatically start to play the song on the screen.
Nevertheless, is a nice suggestion, so let’s see if it capture the attention of other users.
