The macOS desktop app (com.deezer.deezer-desktop) re-registers itself as a login item on every launch — regardless of whether the in-app toggle "Launch Deezer at login" is set to OFF. Steps to reproduce: 1. Set "Launch Deezer at login" to OFF in the app's settings. 2. Quit the app and remove the login item in macOS System Settings. 3. Manually open Deezer.→ The toggle immediately flips back to ON, and macOS shows "Login item added – Deezer.app". Expected: With the toggle OFF, the app should not re-register itself. Actual: The app overrides the setting on every launch and forces the autostart. The entry is created via the modern BTM/SMAppService framework, not a classic LaunchAgent, so it cannot be removed permanently short of uninstalling the app. This appears to be a bug, not intended behaviour. System: Mac mini M4 Pro, macOS Tahoe 26.
