Hi

I would like to browse for music by Country they originate from.
If possible I would like to further browse them by genre, year, artist.

Please could anyone share their views on this.

Deezer is a cultural place that opens doors to new cultures, sounds, artists.... I am not a professional so i cant know all the types or genre of music, and im not fond or only restricted to those of my beloved country...
let me search and find new releases, artists "by language" (since its not possible to change country profile unless deleting recreating a profile which is unpractical...) or let me search, find releases, artists etc... "by country"

coz i usually discover and appreciate good music while visiting a country, or because a tone of a certain language stole my ears and heart 🙂.... simply because i want to discover the difference...

thank you team 🙂. keep smiling and having fun in the deezer land.....please dont go corporate and cold like the trend of all growing businesses...

Agree. I don’t listen to Arabic neither. After deezer official release in MENA, it became a mess. My homepage is full of Arabic recommended playlists which I don’t know where the hell they came from.

At present, your app seems to give me access to my library only through a limited set of sorting criteria. I am looking for an app that allows to sort also by genre. I.e., if I like different kind of music, looking into my library only provides a long and unclear list of everything. It outlines be handy if one could tick the genre that he is interested in, for example show only my jazz albums or my classic albums. I am currently in Spotify and would be happy to move to something that provides with feature. Any chance it could be coming soon?

Genre sorting is possible, but it's a grey area because tracks can float around different genres. We're currently looking at different sorting and grouping options, but it'll take some time before we can give you a definitive answer. Nevertheless, thank you for your support and contribution, I'll be taking your feedback to the right teams here at Deezer :wink:

Ability to sort your saved songs by genre.

I have almost 2000 songs and I would like to be able to sort songs by genre, for example today I want to listen to EDM tracks. Now I need to search for them manually and add them to the playlist individually or put them in the queue, but I would like to insert a filter and start my songs by genre. It would be cool to choose several genres.
