Bring back PiP (picture-in-picture/split-screen)

I used to split Deezer's screen with other apps, but it seems that changed months ago. 

I can split the screen for most other apps, but when I try to do this with Deezer, I get a toast saying the app doesn't support this.
 

I have been testing every new version. but I always end up going back to v6.0.6 to use split screen. 

Please consider enabling it again.

    Thank you for your suggestion - there were some technical issues last time this feature was available. So based on experience, I believe that we'll be reconsidering this once the major updates for the app are done. So let's keep on gathering votes, for now, I've passed it on :wink:

    Hi, the app doesn’t have pip mode on the PC .

    It’s convenient to control playback in a small window, such as in PWA Spotify or Groove Music.

    It would be great to see this at Deezer.

              It’s strange that instead of fixing the issues with a smaller window, they removed support for split-screen/multi-window on Android.

                You said in one of those other threads that the Flow UI had some issues with smaller sizes. It sounds like it didn’t have breakpoints.

                 

                Android is a strange platform to talk about. You could be on Chrome OS, could be on an Android tablet using splitscreen or you could be on an Android phone with freeform desktop-like windows. That’s why I referred to it as a window.

                  That makes complete sense now @raccoonsarecool, thanks for explaining it to me. This is something that will take some time before it gets tackled. There are some urgent things we're working on at the moment. But when the time comes, the feedback will be much more complete thanks to you :thumbsup_tone2:
