Android Automotive app for Volvo/polestar etc

Hey @Keysersoze79 @dc2.0 , we are not abandonind the project, we are still interested in supporting this, but it’s we have other priorities at the moment so it will take still some time, sorry! 

Okay, well this is a pretty disappointing outcome isn't it. Just taken delivery of a Polestar 2 and noticed no Deezer as well.

I've been a paid Deezer customer since 2013, I need music in the car so will not be messing about praying, you are too late. Will be cancelling and switching to Spotify today.

When will this deezer be available on android automotive? I have orded a polestar 2 , but i think i w’ll change (after 7 years) to spotify. Deezer is nog interested in all the new volvo’s, fords and polestars i think.

We just got an XC-40 Recharge this past winter. It's Android driven, and as mentioned above, offers all other music apps, including Tidal, but not Deezer. We had been paying Spotify users for 5 years and switched over during the pandemic. We really enjoy Deezer, but for us to stay long-term, we'll need the app in the car.

When can we expect this app to be ready and available?

After two years of people asking for this and still nothing. I can't even play the Deezer player on the Vivaldi browser. Serious mistake, Deezer. I imagine a lot of Polestar drivers will use Deezer and that there's a big crossover with your user bases. If no progress in the next few weeks I will switch to Spotify having been a Deezer user for more than five years.

Ho there, i read in the FAQ that Automotive OS is supporting a Deezer app but this would all limited to the car manufacturers.
