Adding Podcasts RSS Feed

Bumping this.

Just started using Deezer Premium and at least two podcasts I listen to often are not available, one is from the BBC. How is this possible?

Just subscribed to a podcast through Substack. They have a handy guide on adding the RSS feed to basically every other podcast provider out there, but not Deezer.

I don’t understand what is preventing Deezer from adding this functionality that everyone else has by default? Someone who distributes their podcast via Substack or Patreon, etc, does so for the pricing/payment model. Substack, Patreon, and others then provide the RSS link for you, the subscribers, to listen in your app of choice. If the link is being distributed and the ability provided to add it to apps, clearly the podcaster wants their podcast to be listened to… by paying subscribers. 5 years ago it was said the approval was needed by the podcaster to add the podcast. Providing the link to subscribers feels like a tacit agreement, approval if you will, for the subscriber to be able to listen to the podcast in their app of choice.

Another bump - I subscribe to a podcast's patreon and get an RSS feed for bonus episodes through that. Why can't I add it to Deezer?! It's putting me off committing to a paid subscription when my free trial ends.

It's a shame it's not available as it's nice having one app for podcasts and music though I appreciate this doesn't suit everyone. If you'd like to listen to your patreon stuff in your music app I'd suggest either Spotify (which works with patreon without even using the RSS link) or YouTube Music which lets you add the RSS link in the podcast library.

Thanks Rob, I'm trying out Deezer as an alternative to Spotify (don't want my subscription money going to Daniel Ek's AI war drone investments). Youtube Music might be one to try tho!

Let me take you through my thought process of using Deezer for the first time today. I opened the app, went through the sign up process, annoyed that the free version isn't available in my country but I signed up for the premium trial. I noticed that Deezer lacks some functionality I can live without, like playlist folders. I decided to persevere, and created my first playlist. I then decided to add a podcast. Hobba and Hing. Not found. Alright then let's try Matt and Alex. Not found. ReDriven? Not found. At this point I decided to try the three podcasts I listen to the most. Not having any of these would be a deal breaker. Deezer has none of them, and, it seems, no way to get them. I was a premium subscriber for all of about half an hour. Spotify gets away with not allowing RSS feeds by having a massive library. Deezer does not have that luxury. This needs to be fixed. And yes, I said fixed, not added, because a podcast app with no library and no way to add our own content isn't functional

I agree with Request #1. I pay for a patreon specific podcast that has an RSS link users are supposed to be able to put into their podcast player of choice, such as Spotify. I want to use it with Deezer but don't think that function has been added / designed yet. 

Literally signed in just to bump this. How many of us need to vote on this for it to be implemented?

And another up for this feature request. Shouldn’t be that hard, to implement since a lot of alternatives offer this feature. 

Signed in to also request this. I subscribe to a couple podcasts that n Patreon I would like to be able to listen to in Deezer with everything else. Is there any progress on adding this functionality?
