Add Songs to Favorites in Offline Mode

Hello Deezer User's and Deezer Staff,

me suggestion is to implement in the mobile app that you can add song's to your favorites even without internet connection. At the moment it is just possible to add songs when you have a internet connection.

Maybe this is easy to implement ?! 😎🤔😉

That idea is very important . People travel every day and we cross areas without internet conexion, such as tunnels , mountains, national parks, etc.

The situation is that you are listenning to your downloaded music or by the streaming way and when you are going to add that song to a playlist (including favourite's one), a message appears saying that you must wait until you get back internet connection.

But what if you are going to stay there for a while? Music continues playing and maybe you forget what songs you love and which not.

I am sure that Deezer will say: please add to a playlist until we allow that feature in a future time. And that's what we are doing for now.

Dear Deezer, was a Spotify user and i made the switch to Deezer because i wanted to try something else and I like your music choices. It is very annoying that Deezer don’t support adding favourites in offline modus. What do you mean with implementing soon? It’s almost a year ago that “walker” mentioned this “problem”. My kids don’t have a continue internet connection. If it will not be solved in a short time I have to return to Spotify.

Thanks for the feedback @recognize_me it isn't that easy to implement and it has just not been prioritised in lieu of our resources and other ideas with more demand. Thank you for supporting it now, I'll be passing the suggestion again to our devs, maybe they can have a fresh look on this :wink:

This would be great! It goes along with another topic of the lagging “Heart” button. If the heart button would have given you instant feedback and new favs could have been stored locally on device until Deezer app has a good connection to the server, that would do wonders to user experience!

In general, i would say, keep in memory every action until connection comes back
