Please, add language selector to the desktop app or change dependency on the “Windows display language” setting to the much more flexible “Preferred languages”
I’m Ukrainian, so I would like to change my language to Ukrainian, but I can’t do it without changing the “windows display language” which is English in my case
This is the only thing that is bothering me in your great app
Thank you!

I can understand why you want this to be in a future update.

But for the time being:

On Windows I’m using Deezer with the browser and here you can change the language.

If you use Edge or Chrome you can “install” the site as an app. Could this be a solution for you?

Thank you for trying to help me, but your solution is not comfortable for me. I don’t use Chrome, so to use it for launching Deezer only would be a nuisance.
Also, the existence of a language selector would help much bigger number of people than using Chrome to bypass the absence of selector.

Seconding this! I was able to change language in the browser, but I want to use the desktop app in English (someone got a little too creative and translated “Home” as “Beginning” in Polish, which sounds just weird). Changing the Windows language is not a solution; I don’t use Chrome or Edge, so that workaround is not viable either.

Ability to change language of a program seems like a very basic function, especially if it’s already implemented in the browser version, so would you mind revisiting the issue and including this in a nearby update? Thanks!

Second this.

“Change country as often as you like. Observe! It can take a few hours before the changes show in the desktop app. Do not worry, your language settings are unaffected.”

That last sentence may be a feature but it is strange that I am allowed to “change region” but not language.
