I have a humble suggestion for Deezer's editorial team.

Since June is dedicated to Pride playlists, perhaps we could embrace a more comprehensive approach to the human experience. After all, there are twelve months in the year, and it seems unfair for only one of the classic mortal sins to receive such excellent marketing support.

Why not give the others their moment too?

  • January: Vanity – songs for reinventing ourselves and posting gym selfies.
  • February: Lust – no explanation needed.
  • March: Envy – for browsing other people's holiday photos and pretending we're happy for them.
  • April: Sloth – anthems for productivity that can absolutely wait until tomorrow.
  • May: Greed – perfect for checking stock portfolios every seven minutes.
  • July: Wrath – ideal for traffic jams and customer service hold music.
  • November: Gluttony – conveniently timed before the festive season.

Just some feedback from a subscriber who came for the music and stayed for the occasional unexpected lesson in calendar management.
