I was looking at another music streaming service before Deezer that has a really cool feature: every time you renew your subscription, you can pick an artist to directly support. I.E., maybe a small portion of the subscription price goes to that artist. Not sure how feasible it would be, but it would be awesome. The streaming platform I was looking at isn't available in the U.S yet, but I think it's the only platform I've seen offer that. Maybe if it isn't do-able on a monthly basis, you can set it up for 2, for, or 6 months at a time. It could be a really cool Spotify killer.

sometimes the shortest distance between two points really is a straight line, and this is why I support my favorite artists by buying their CDs and, occasionally, other stuff like t-shirts, show tickets, and memorabilia.
it helps that I have a CD player at home and in my car, but it doesn’t take much effort to find a way.
