JBL Charge 5 WiFi support

If JBL doesn’t have an app with Deezer support, why not use Bluetooth or the ChromeCast build-in?

Or if you have an iPhone, you could use Apple Airplay.

I think Deezer Connect isn’t possible to use this with the JBL Charge WiFi, but I think ChromeCast build-in is the best option.

If you take a look at the music services that JBL does support, doesn’t Deezer show?

Currently I’m using Bluetooth, but it’s not optimal - maybe my phone is a bit old, so there are small audio glitches from time to time. Google/ChromeCast might be an option, you are right - but I am somehow still trying to avoid Google, wherever I can. And without a Google account, it won’t work, it seems…

And no, JBL does not show any Deezer support (see https://support.jbl.com/gb/en/speakers/speakers-portable/CHARGE-5-WIFI.html). A support request there did not produce any helpful reply, just a “thanks for your mail, we might consider your suggestion later”… :-(

Well, now I understand. Without a Google account, it’s impossible to use Chromecast and the only option is Bluetooth if you want to keep on using Deezer.

Hopefully JBL will change their minds and will add Deezer.
