More data, more possibilities
Hello, this is an idea, maybe not even a bad one!
A large amount of data may not be so good for you, but it allows you to have more options. Why don't you give artists the ability to specify more details about their audio? This will allow not only people to navigate them, but also algorithms to more accurately select compositions.
Tags? No, not really, the keywords of the compositions will probably confuse and burden users. I suggest less freely, but more - the properties of the compositions. As examples of the properties of Windows audio files, they contain a lot more public data through which the user can define and distribute them.
Data use
And what will these properties give? Properties - data that can be shown to users, but no one will look at it without a purpose. Then you can split the tracks into groups / categories according to the same properties, or sort, depending on what properties. You can provide the creation and auto-update of playlists by property, and much more.
For example, I like the MonsterCat label, and I would like to separate their songs into the Favorite songs category, for example, add them to a playlist (maybe even hiding them in Favorite songs), but I have to manually add all the songs I like to that playlist.
Sincerely, Dmitri
