WORST Experience on Android

Here's my info, just for reference.

Samsung Galaxy A73 5G

Android 14

One UI 6.1

Deezer Premium 8.0.20.3

Out of all the music streaming apps I use on my phone, including Spotify and YouTube Music, Deezer's app is unequivocally the worst by far. In fact, out of all the various different apps I use for work, social media, etc., Deezer is still the worst.

It is extremely laggy and resource intensive, and is also very heavy on RAM and CPU usage. It bugs out so frequently that I have to force stop the app at least once per day, otherwise the following features can break: can't pause/play/skip songs inside the app or using the notification; notification doesn't even show up; can't play or shuffle playlists; it will behave like the full song player isn't open even when it is, so it will just start pressing random buttons and playing random songs; widget won't load; it will refuse to add a song to a playlist or favourites; and more issues I can't even remember right now.

Probably the most frustrating thing, though, is that I can't even cast music from my phone to the Deezer app on my Android TV without both my phone and the TV completely glitching out and becoming unusable.

I cannot overexaggerate how AWFUL it is to use the Deezer app, because it simply is a horribly programmed buggy mess. I don't have ANY issues like these when using YouTube Music. Deezer's Android app is just that broken and terrible.

Keep in mind that I have been a premium Deezer user for a very long time, but I am just sick at this point. Strongly considering cancelling my subscription. There are many, many more negatives than positives to using Deezer on Android, so I don't know why I'm even being charged to use this horrendous app.

You could always switch to quboz, I've had a few trial's with quboz lossless.  The main issue is that when you sync all your albums and playlists over , only about 70 percent of the songs are on the platform. Spotify is no better .Yes Quboz & spotify have better facilities i.e create folders for organization. But I'm staying with deezer , at the end of the day i pay to listen to great lossless music , it has the biggest library . Yes the mobile app could have more functionality , but it sounds incredible. I prefer Deezer lossless audio quality over both quboz and Spotify. Quboz sounds thin and tinny and spotify sounds compressed.

Just a humble dude , no-one special in life
