Windows/Mac Deezer Desktop/Web App - Feedback for improvements

1. Focus the currently playing track on the playlist, if the playlist is open. I don’t want to search songs from playlist if i want to move it or delete it (desktop app)
2. When using desktop app in night-mode, make that scroll bar either bigger or in different color that I can tell where it is. Currently it’s same color as the background, barely visible with dim outline. 
3. Let the playlist be loaded till the end on default or give me a setting that i can turn it on. I dont want to play around with the scroll bar to reach the end where I just added 5 new tracks to move them into better spot.

Sorry for replying to an old thread, but the Windows desktop app is still weird. Why do I have to login via a browser? Why can’t the app handle login?

Closing the app is a worse experience - clicking the X at top right just closes the window, it doesn’t stop the song playing. So now you’ve got no app but still music coming from… somewhere. You have to go into task manager and kill the background process.

So, please, could you make the Windows desktop application behave like other, normal, Windows desktop applications?

MacOS desktop App should pause/restart like the ios app.

If I’m listening to a song and I “pause” it, when I “unpause” it, it restarts the song from the beginning.

This behavior is counterintuitive. “Unpause” does not equal “restart”

Hey Deezer Team: Please disregard my suggestion above.

I realized I was on an old version of the desktop app and had never been prompted to upgrade.

I deleted it, installed the latest dmg from the deezer.com (7.0.50), launched the app,  was prompted to restart the app for an upgrade and now on 7.0.190 pause/restart behaves like it should!

I’m seeing people are still posting suggestions here, so I’ll drop mine in, too.

I recently migrated over to Deezer after being absolutely fed up with Spotify’s business practices, and I’m loving it so far. My favorite feature is being able to upload my own mp3 tracks. However, I am missing some UI and QoL features that did keep me chained to Spotify.

• Ability to adjust specific audio settings (more bass, acoustics, etc.)
• Ability to custom sort playlists in the sidebar by dragging/dropping
• Playlist folders
• Crossfade on Windows app (I know this feature is available on mobile, but I’d love to see it on the Windows app, too, since that’s where I listen most)

Have you tried the quick access feature?

Please add a setting in app that allows for changing what the X button does for closing the app. Kind of tired of force closing the app after trying to close the program and it only hiding in background.

I literally just went through all the trouble of finding out how to leave feedback to ask for this. I want the X button to close/exit the app. I do not want it to just go hang out in the system tray. This should be an option, just like every other piece of software. :|

It’s 2026. Give people choices. Thanks. 

Hello, I have the desktop app on my windows computer and I’ve noticed that when I drag the open application across the screen it will exit out of the application ¾ of the time, I'm not sure what's causing it.  

I also can’t seem to find a way to update the application in the app, it’s possible I'm not looking in the right menus but that would be extremely helpful. 

I would also like to suggest making a desktop client for Linux computers and possibly a discord connection. 

I tried to reproduce the issue on my Windows 11 laptop, but no matter how often I switched between the open and playing Deezer window, it didn’t crash for me. Could you share a video with this issue?

As far as I know (and could find), there isn’t an option to manually update Deezer. Normally this shouldn’t be a problem, because Deezer notifies you when an update is available, and you can then choose whether or not to install it.

There are already several threads discussing the Linux app for Deezer. Unfortunately, the current answer is still that there won’t be an official Deezer Linux version.

On my Linux Mint PC, I use the unofficial Deezer app that you can find in the App Store.
