What's Your Favorite Way to Discover New Music on Deezer?

I've been exploring different ways to find new artists and playlists, and I'm curious how everyone else discovers fresh music on Deezer.

Do you mostly rely on Flow, curated playlists, genre mixes, album recommendations, or your friends' suggestions? Have you found any underrated artists or hidden gems recently?

I'm also interested in knowing:

  • Which genres do you listen to the most?
  • Do you prefer playlists or full albums?
  • What's one song you've discovered on Deezer that you think more people should hear?

I used to discover new artists with FLOW but these days I mostly get to know them via "New releases for you" which includes albums and songs from artists I know and from artists I might like .

1. I'm listening to Metal mostly but also to pop

2. I prefer albums

It varies each time.

Sometimes I use Flow, but only when it’s properly set up. Otherwise, I go to “New Releases”, because I often find new things there as well.

And then there are Deezer’s own playlists. I listen to rock and metal, and Deezer has some great playlists that I check every week.

My favourite discovery on Deezer was Cemetery Skyline. At a time when my father had just passed away, I really wasn’t in the mood for “upbeat songs”, and I came across this track on Deezer, it matched my mood perfectly (and the rest of the album as well).
