Vertical 4k monitor

On Windows, the Deezer app doesn't remember the window size when the app is on a 4k monitor, when the monitor is on a vertical orientation.

It always comes up re-sized and spills over outside the screen. It is frustrating to have to resize the Deezer window every time I restart my computer or the app. Can you please fix this?

Hey @zx6dude 👋

Any chance you can share with us a picture of the issue to check it out, please?

Also, I would suggest you to update the desktop app to the latest version available to see that helps 😁

Hi @Alfredo.Deezer

Here is the screen capture as requested - as you can see Deezer is going off the screen to the right, it doesn’t matter how many times I re-size it, every time I close it, it reverts to this. I’m already running version 7.0.60.

I have two monitors:2K horizontal on the left and 4K vertical on the right. For privacy, I pixelated some of the screen. If I run Deezer on the 2K screen, its fine.

Hey @zx6dude 👋

Thanks for the picture!

I’ve asked one of our SUs to try it on his screens and he was able to do it without any issue

Here are some screenshots as well, so you can check them out

You just need to change your Screen settings to ‘vertical’ (sorry for the settings in Spanish)

Here is another screenshot including the toolbar. You can also resize (or maximise) the window frames as well to fit it to your vertical screen 👌

He is using Windows 11 Pro and the latest version of the Deezer desktop app

I hope that helps! 😁

Hi @Alfredo.Deezer

Thanks for this, but I wouldn’t really be able to use the screen vertically if it wasn’t already in portrait (vertical) mode. The problem is not resizing the Deezer app, that works fine, but when its closed and re-opened or when I restart my computer, the sizing is not retained on my vertical screen.

Case in point on this screen capture, I started Deezer and more than half of it is missing until I resize the app again.

If I maximize the app, when I close and re-open, it moves the app to the horizontal monitor. Even though when I closed it, it was on the vertical one.

Its not a massive issue as I can still use Deezer, it is just frustrating to have to resize every single time I login, you’d have thought that a current Windows app would remember its window size and on which monitor it was running.

Thanks
