Hi @djzanelee, virtual DJ doesn't really belong to Deezer, but I believe you have to be online to get it working…
Have a look at their community - https://www.virtualdj.com/forums/index.html
This is a good question and of course a lot of DJ’s are going to be wondering. I use Virtual DJ Pro, and I have a Deezer HiFi subscription. About 1/3 of the tunes I use in Virtual DJ are pulled from within the Virtual DJ search feature directly from Deezer. I myself don’t need to DJ offline. However, I have had a lot of problems with the music loading on the player from the autoplaylist I created due to “network error”. Premium subscription services like with Spotify allow for offline cashing of the music, as does iDJpool. Was wondering why Deezer doesn’t allow cashing of their content as well, even temporarily….. so I’m not left with a “dead spot in my DJ’ing due to my player not playing anyything and giving me “network error” messages? Virtual DJ has the capability to cashe a tune for offline use from different streaming providers….
Thanks for the feedback @Jesse Li Starseed
We're currently building a new Public API and SDKs for existing and new integrations. Once that massive work is done, our integrations will work much better. Stay tuned!
@rudi
What is the status of the new api?
I was testing offline playback in VDJ yesterday and it did not work.
Do I have to click some button to cache the files?
Without this feature I would need to use a different service.
I like deezer because it integrated well with songiiz.
Thanks,
David
With the deezer app. Can we not play the track offline in virtual dj?
