The new queue update is really inconvenient for me

It feels redundant. It does the same thing that “Play Next” does. What was wrong with the previous “Add to queue”?

I like to queue albums one after another. Now the queued album gets put right after the current song that I’m listening to, and I have to manually adjust the order so that I get 2nd Album after 1st Album.

Redundant is a polite way of phrasing it. Now I have to plan in reverse what albums I want to listen to? 🤦🏼‍♂️

The workaround I've come up with is to start a short EP and then add to queue and then remove the additional EP tracks from the end of the queue...but I need a workaround for a feature that's worked perfectly for almost a decade?!

Scrolling is literally impossible now. What happened? Every other scroll I add a song to the queue.

And I JUST made a post compliment how this app has little problems. Now it’s so annoying to use.

Hi @papajcina !

On Deezer, Listen Next places a chosen track at the very top of your queue to play immediately after your current song, while Add to queue puts that track at the bottom of your current list to play much later.

 Listen Next
Placement: Moves the song to the top of your active playlist or queue.
Timing: Plays right after the song currently ending.
Use case: Great when you hear a song you want to hear right now without waiting for a whole album or playlist to finish.

Add to Queue
Placement: Puts the song at the end of your current playback list.
Timing: Plays only after all tracks currently lined up ahead of it finish.
Use case: Perfect for building a temporary custom playlist on the fly as you browse for songs you want to hear later in the session.

@Nina Nebo it used to work like this but now both actions put the track or album to the top of the queue as @papajcina is describing.

Could you make the feature less sensitive or "soft blocked" when scrolling? It's harder to navigate playlist rn

I agree the new "addition to the queue" is horrible for people listening to entire albums. They change this fonction while play next was already doing exactly that...
