Using my new NAD C368 with my Deezer through the BluOS integrated in de NAD. Searching for an album from My Albums to listen to is terrible in the BlueOS app, since there is no specific sorting in the BluOS interface (“recently added”).

I am used to see a sorting in the Deezer app of albums first by artist and then alphabetically. This is a proper sort to allow me to checkout what I want to listen to. Just like I had sorted my CDs in the past (by artist first and than by year of issuance). Is there a way to get such a sort in Deezer through the BluOS interface instead of the "recently added" sort?

I am not so happy with the interface of Deezer in BluOS, while this is one of the few premium audio interfaces in the market… I hate to change audio platform for this, but the NAD is staying...

Yours,

Wouter

Hey there @wvannus, the BluOS app is not developed by us directly. I have passed on the feedback but it’s worth contacting them as well! Thank you. :v_tone3:

Thanks Yula!
I also mentioned this to the guys at Bluesound/BluOS, also mentioning that Deezer claims it is BluOS responsibility to get this sorted. I read some responses there that they claim it is in the API offered by Deezer, but I am not sure if this is currently still the case (awaiting their response).

Irrespective who is ultimately responsible, I expect Deezer to represent its clients’ (my) interests in relation to the interface of Deezer in mayor/leading  HiFi platforms, such as BluOS.

If user experience of Deezer through BluOS is ultimately suboptimal compared to alternative services, Deezer may loose/miss clients.

Hope this can be sorted after all these years.

I am surprised as well that there are no alternative sorting options with Deezer albums in the Bluesound app. Although I’m satisfied with Deezer in general, I’m gonna try Tidal for my Bluesound as I read with Tidal it’s possible.

This is exactly the same on Yamaha MusicCast devices and on Android Auto. It is the Deezer that is not offering the alternative sorting order and has been nicely implemented e.g. by Tidal (see screenshots below).

with a huge favorites list it would be very nice to have some sorting options indeed. each time I need to scroll down all the way….thats frustrating. please Deezer expand the API or inform third parties like Bluesound that the APUI offers more functionalities.
