Hi,
I’ve used Deezer for about 10 years now. I sort all my music into playlists, and on the daily I simply click on “Shuffle” to play a random mix of my music, meaning I can go through my day without having to keep an eye on the app which is perfect for me.
Lately this feature has been getting worse. Where I would get pretty much an infinite playlist of my music, the shuffle mix adding more songs at the end of the queue it would create, well it’s not the case anymore. It only creates a small queue, and once it reaches the end, it goes back to the first song or even just stops.
Also, maybe even more annoying, when I click “Shuffle my music”, it creates a queue of NOT my music. 20 to 60 max songs queue of only artists I DON’T LISTEN TO, nor like. I don’t know where these songs are coming from. I could understand one or two songs being out of place but it’s the WHOLE QUEUE.
I don’t know what’s up with Deezer at the moment but this is really annoying. I understand sometimes things change and it’s okay, but I would at least expect to hear MY music when I click “Shuffle MY music”.
And before I get the random questions from the support,
Yes I’m up to date. Yes it does that everywhere, on my PC and my phone.
Hi
This is actually a known issue, and our developers are already working on a fix.
I’ll keep you updated as soon as there’s any news!

Thanks a lot for the quick reply. Glad to read your teams are working on it ! Looking forward to having it back to normal
Disable the "Synchronized Queue-list" feature on all your devices.
Do not use Deezer for a few hours.
After waiting a few hours, the "Shuffle my music" feature should work normally, at least in the Web Browser version on your PC.
Unfortunately, if you are using the app on your phone, it is very likely that the problem will occur again and you will have to wait a few more hours.
Hi
’ll pass your feedback to the team so they can look into it.
