No surround sound on XBox

When connecting my laptop to my sound system over HDMI, I was surprised to have surround sound working. I am using the webpage on Firefox, receiver is connected over HMDI. While using the app on the Xbox, I sadly only have stereo output, although I have uncompressed 5.1 output configured in the Xbox settings.

I also tried enabling audio pass-through and using Deezer over the Edge browser with no success.

Does Deezer even support surround sound? Maybe this is some virtualization on my Laptop in pipewire (Linux). On the other hand, I didn’t have surround sound on all songs (for example, My woman by Lew Stone was stereo only).
