Hey @Peteskies !
Thank you for your idea!
I think it’s similar to this one, can you have a look and let me know if I can merge it, please?
Because instead of new Ideas, we need more votes on one idea to make it happen and I think you can complete this one with yours.
Let me know, thanks!
Hey @Johnathan Finotti
You would have to name the link that can be used by everyone.
Your link is the internal Insided link that only the moderators/community managers can use.
Ups!
Thank you @dee_dirk! I will check it next time! heehhe
I don’t agree with the OP in the suggested merge thread as that’s a list for liked artists only.
I think it’s way more important there should be a raw new releases page. This may be a deal breaker for me, as every weekend I am going to other services to actually find the new music, and really am disliking manually searching things here with every fleeting interest.
“New releases” section REALLY NEEDS a major rework!!!
I’ve been using Tidal for some time before. Now I can say that I’m “forced” to switch to an alternative as Tidal has stopped streaming in my country. What difference did I notice? Tidal is far more album oriented, Deezer is more playlist oriented. But I believe that it’s totally possible to combine both approaches, it should not be “either this or that”. What Deezer is really missing is two separate sections for “New singles” and “New albums/EP’s”. Of course, not to mention that most listened / liked artists should come first in recommendations in “New singles” and “New albums/EP’s”.
The point here is that those oriented on high quality listening experience (where Tidal and Qobuz are recognized standards de facto as a default first choice streaming services), incl. both the music and hi-fi/hi-end setups, are more oriented on album listening than playlist listening. Therefore those people who value music of high quality are first looking for albums. What my surprise was when recently a new album of Judas Priest was released and Deezer has not highlighted and recommended it to me!
