Most Played sort option is missing from mobile app

Just wondering why the "Most Played" sort option for artists has been removed from the mobile app?

This was present in the mobile app for a long time, but not the Desktop app, and seems to have been removed in an update to the mobile apps UI. It feels regressive to remove sort options instead of expanding available options in other areas.

I can confirm that for the iOS app. Up to version 9.12.0.x the sorting 'Most played' still existed. Not anymore since version 9.13.0.x.
