Is there a fix for Deezer Playlist to work properly with Android Auto?

Also for you information, YT music and Spotify are among the best android auto apps and both have option to browse inside a playlist and start any song within the playlist. Also both the apps shows the “Queue” button when a playlist is being played and selecting this button shows list of all song inside that particular playlist (play queue) and from this list user can further change to another song.

This is kind of a deal breaker for me.

Any updates on this?

No updates I am afraid @Chento Albrecht, however, we recently launched Automotive OS: 

Please don't propose us to switch the car. It is lot easier to switch the app. Give some stuff to your loyal users and do two simple fixes. They really won't require tons of effort. Even a junior developer will probably be able to do them on his own.

Please provide us with:

1. Playback order from the latest song to the oldest song in the playlist - this is simple fix in your business logic

2. Ability to choose a song from the playlist - probably this api has to be called https://developer.android.com/reference/android/support/v4/media/session/MediaSessionCompat#setQueue(java.util.List%3Candroid.support.v4.media.session.MediaSessionCompat.QueueItem%3E)

Hi @MichalG, well  change car would be probably nice 😅, but seeing our users leaving that is something we don't want to see.

After reaching out our product team, it was mentioned that there are plans to bring some improvements in the next quarters.

No much was disclosed, but the first priority aims to solve some resilient issues and improve the app stability.

After that, we will work in the search feature, queues and finally the sorting feature in playlist view.

With the queue list view available in the player, users will be able to navigate and choose a song from the playlist.

So fingers cross that all that can be implement during this year.

Are there any updates on this now? I'm currently trying out Deezer and features like this (and a few others) are part of the determining factors if I will stay on as a paid subscriber.

Adding my request on this topic as well. This is truly annoying while driving. Seems like it's still not happening any time soon... Kind of a deal breaker though
