i paid 19.99 for an application that DOES not work!!!

application is totally disfunctional.

-impossible to load downloaded music when offline!!!

-always stuck on one song that seems rotten and making me the application fails - but it's not possible to unselect it from download

- download with mobile data even if this function is not selected

- application freezes when I want to change the "download on mobile data"

 

I just try to rate the application and add a message and got "an error occured" message.

 

I spent days to download again my music after the last installation and it is really a tragedy. 

Please inform me when you will have a tested / stable version

This doesn’t sound good.

You are using Deezer 7.1.5.26. Is this the Deezer beta version? Because if you go to the Playstore and go to Deezer there, the latest stable version is 7.1.4.88.

My issue is the following.

As an IT engineer I was interested by the beta.

So I installed it.

Then it was so unstable that I uninstalled it with the idea of switching back to the official release.

BUT even if I tried to install this, it seems the beta was installed again - with the major (and painful) issue of being forced to re-download hours of music in local.

 

Back to square one ... Or should I say square "minus one" as it is much worse than before.

If I’m correct, the only way to uninstall the beta and switch back to the stable release is by going to the Google Playstore and turn off the Deezer beta.

(Below is in Dutch I’m afraid)

 

 

 I did that before reinstalling.

I may give it a second try.- and probably lose again all my downloads :'(

A new version was pushed so i finally managed to get back to regular version instead of beta.

It seems more stable but awfully slow - it takes one or 2 minutes to open my favorite downloaded songs.

It takes forever. The previous version was super fast, not sure what's happening with your latest releases but you surely should do some perf. benchmarks - there s something seriously wrong.

Hi @Christele Bx , thanks for the update. Indeed the new app brought more stability in the download/offline section.

Nevertheless, with the revamp of our app, some new bugs/miss features appeared and we are investigating them.

Today we have release a hot fix 8.0.0.78 and we have already a bigger update programmed for end of November.

Your issue might be related with the amount of tracks you have in the favourites, but still shouldn’t be responsible for such long time to open considering that we allow up to 10.000 tracks on fav. tracks.

Downloading your favourites improve the experience?

Anyway, I will share this feedback with our developers.

Please keep updating Deezer app in the next two weeks to see if there is any major improvement in performance.

New version does bring some stability indeed.

.

It is no longer crashing but it takes 30sec to a minute to start playing music when I'm offline.

It was almost immediate with the previous versions and I didn't have less download

I do have around 1300 favorite songs downloaded
