How do i stop the playing music inspired by

When I choose to play a song by a band or artist. I don't want other artists inspired by the artist I just played to play. I want the same artist to continue playing. How do I turn off his very irritating feature? There are no visible toggles in settings.

If want random music I would choose a random list. Why the hell am I getting Velvet Revolver or Slash after choosing a System of a down song. They are nothing like what I chose and I hate Velvet Revolver, I want more System of a down... the band I chose.

I don't listen to that rubbish you have pushed on me!!! And you are generating stats for artists I don't support. How dare you use me to do that.

How is this even acceptable?

Trying to use hands free, say Hey Google..  play System of a down. And you thinks it's appropriate to play MUSIC INSPIRED BY SYSTEM OF A DOWN.

Are you kidding me?

So I have to pull over, switch off my car ( so I don't break the law and risk a fine) and try and stop the irritation that you have decided I want to hear.

I am this close to walking away from Deezer.

I pay for a premium service so that I can hear the music I WANT TO HEAR...ad free.

I'm not paying you to choose my music.

What the actual hell man.

In fact... you know what....

I'm out.

You've finally lost me and my family.

Good Riddance to a cluttered interface and constant network errors.

 hi @The W'o'anderer !

maybe link below can help you

I'm using hands free whilst driving.

So I don't have the option of choosing the first song.

I have tried saying.

Hey Google. Play System Of a Down

Hey Google. Play System Of A Down on Deezer

Hey Google. Play System Of a Down - Aerials

Hey Google. Only Play System Of a Down.

Even when I have told it to stop and then requested Sytem Of A DOWN again. Deezer then continues to play whatever band was playing  before I stopped it.

Every request results on the same behaviour

With any band I ask for. Pearl Jam, Incubus, Rodriguez, Newton Faulkner.... you name it.

Most 9f the aforementioned artists have an extensive collection of releases, more than enough to keep playing them.

The resulting behaviour is infuriating and out of order. Reminiscent of when you had the free version and could not choose the next songs to play (but at least the same band played).

The difference is I pay. And yes I am fuming.

So I do appreciate your link. It unfortunately does not serve to fix my problem and sadly would cause me to risk being fined as it is illegal to operate a mobile device whilst your engine is on, at least here in the UK.

I can legally skip tracks through my car stereo though... but skipping the track takes me on to a different artist. So example. Asked for System Of a Down - Sugar.... listened and it went on to Velvet Revolver, don't like it so skip... it goes on to Slash.... don't like that so skip and it goes on to something else.....

That is when I pull over, switch my car engine off which disconnects my phone from my stereo and you notice it is playing music inspired by System of a Down.

I did not request that.

So I refuse to support or pay for a service that is generating stats for bands I don't support. And I refuse to pay or support an app that tries to force music onto me that I don't enjoy and did not request. There are premade lists on the app homepage for that. If I want that I would select that.

I have already told my family we are leaving Deezer and returning to Spotify and that I will help them transfer their playlists back over to Spotify.

I came to Deezer because I read they pay artists better... so congratulations Deezer. I'm returning to the opposition who don't.

I listen to obscure artists like Newton Faulkner or The Undercover Hippy and expect them to get the stats they deserve and be paid decently for their content. If you push artists onto me against my will then I'm done with you.
