I asked a question here, someone posted a non-answer, and it was marked as answered. I was trying to report a data inconsistency, but instead got told to search differently. (sure go ahead and check my profile, at time of posting I only have one other thread here so it should not be hard to find.)

I’m concerned that someone has made an executive decision to mark my question as answered when I really feel it has not been answered at all. Who decides this? I would have thought that it would be up to me to decide if my question was answered, since it was my question after all. Do I need to ask my original question again to get some traction? Am I posting in the wrong place?

I'm sorry for any confusion or frustration you may have experienced. The marking of answers is typically done by the person who initiated the question or by the moderators in certain forums. However, the system also has automated processes to mark questions as answered based on certain criteria.

If you feel that your question has not been adequately addressed, you can reply to the existing thread to seek further clarification or provide more details. Alternatively, if you believe there's a data inconsistency or an issue that needs attention, you might want to consider reaching out to the platform's support or community moderators for assistance.

Feel free to share more details or ask for clarification here, and I'll do my best to assist you.

Hi @Karolina Charylo, sorry to hear that you are having this kind of experience.

To better help you, could you please provide more details about the issue with repetitive songs on shuffle so that I can share it with our developers?

Additionally, could you please provide the following information:

• What is the brand and model of the device you are experiencing issues with?

• What is the version of the operating system installed on your device (Android, iOS, Windows, or Mac)?

• If you are using our app, what is the Deezer version installed on your device?

Have you already tried any troubleshooting steps?

Apple iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro Max iOS 17.2.1.,, iPod Touch 7th generation & Deezer version 10.2.1.(10.2.1 1.)

I don't know what is trouble shooting

How would I fix it if it is happening on many devices for many years now?  In that situation it is obvious that reinstalling, updating etc won’t help.. Cause during that long period I was changing devices & updating phones & app many times.

My trouble shooting was waiting patiently for Deezer to fix it 😅

Hi again,

I need to apologize everyone & would like to close the topic about shuffle not working. I now admit it was my fault Deezer didn’t work properly.
I find out that on one of my devices Deezer wasn’t updated, After updating iPod shuffle songs works great.

Hi @Karolina Charylo, thank you for letting us know. Everything is now okay.
