Higher limit for songs in a playlist

Perhaps someone can explain the difference to Deezer and to storage on my phone of 5 2000-song playlists and one 10,000-song playlist? Personally I have over 6,000 in my favourites and I would have more over 2000-song playlists if it were possible.

But you want one playlist with 10 000 songs !? 

In favourites you have over 6 000 songs  , and you want from Deezer that give us possibility in one playlist to put more then 2000 songs !?

Hi @BigFKahuna, if you want to know if it is possible to have more than 2000 music in one playlist, unfortunately, it’s not possible. Our content limit is 2000 music in each playlist but if you want to see your favorites (6039) you can see them on your desktop and web.

@Leonídia.Deezer but why are after more then 5 years the content limits so low compared to other streaming services? I can't understand why this is still not a priority because on the forum are more threads about the low playlist limit.

Hi @Jens_Crazy more or less two years ago was decision of Deezer to increase the limit of favorite tracks from 2000 to 10000 tracks. Right now there isn’t any plans to raise other limits as this kind of increase as a lot of impact on the Deezer listening experience.

Interesting as I don’t believe most listeners have thought there might be a downside to increased playlist limits. How would the playlist limit adversely effect the listening experience?

 Hi @BigFKahuna, one possible reason of the impact on the UX is that having more content to load on older devices with short storage or memory can affect the listening experience. Keep in mind that Deezer app supports Android devices from 6.0 which means devices with low specs comparing to the actual Android 12,13 devices.
