Got an idea? Request a feature 🚀

We're proud to say that since the birth of our Deezer communities, you've been sharing and suggesting the best features and improvements we could ask for - clap if you think of Dark Mode :smirk::sunglasses:

So for us to get your feedback in the right place, to the right people and in the right way, we need you to follow 3 magic rules :point_down_tone2:

  1. Before posting an idea: check if it doesn't already exist :raising_hand_tone1:
Our search engine has become more advanced and thanks to filters, you can easily find out if someone had the same cool idea you've been thinking about

  2. One topic/thread = one idea: so that it's easier to spot and start a discussion about, keep one suggestion per topic :nerd:
We can then redirect specific teams to look into one topic about one feature, to keep things simpler and more objective

  3. Be clear and concise: I can't stress this enough! :spy_tone5: Think of a clever and specific title, detail your suggestion within the topic and don't be vague, make sure everyone knows what's all about
Imagine other users looking for the same and finding your idea. They'll vote and our teams will be able to see clearly how many other users want the same
Think about which platform and device the idea applies to as well

The ideas that meet the criteria above and are less of an opinion or general feedback will go through.

Not all ideas will see the light of day, that's true. But we can assure you that our developing teams will be directly informed about them and we'll be always closely following up to ensure there's progress :muscle_tone2:

We're delighted to have your suggestions popping here all the time - it's an essential part of making Deezer a better product for all of you

*topics with suggestions that reflect opinions or small improvements to existing feature will still be discussed here at Deezer but they'll be placed in the Features & Feedback forum, so don't be mad at us if that happens! :relieved:

Increasing listening history? Sure! We need to continue working on improving the app for performance, before we can make it a bit heavier :relaxed:@Hoppimike

I can understand that.

I was using another paid music service and app recently (before I switched back to Deezer) and it skips and stutters like crazy! My phone is low spec but it’s the only one that does it, so I do understand the importance of a well performing app.

Thank you for the reply. For now I guess I’ll just use Favourites to do it :)

Alessandro, @Alessandro Massignan have you tried deactivating the volume normalisation feature in the settings? If you've got the link for the albums, maybe we can check into them as well, just in case.

Thanks for sharing a bit more about your experience with us @Hoppimike it's really important for us to have feedback from users with a low-spec handset, you're not alone! We're always discussing the possibility of having a lighter app, for better performance on those :thumbsup_tone2:

@Rudi

Here they are:

I get it that I could disable the normalization but it wouldn’t made the trick if one of the album’s tracks above will come up while I’m listening through “flow” or a simple playlist of mine.

Volume goes to the moon 10 to 50 :-).

Cheers,

Alessandro

I would like to see a similar function like Spotify.

In the favorites playlist a gerne / moods selection function On top of the playlist.

It would be great also when I select some of the moods or gerne. And the selected songs are all played. Deezer automatically starting a "radio station" based on that mood or gerne.

Hi All!

Do you plan to make feature like Spotify Connect? When I have app on one device, selecting all music and paylists there (on PC), but may point to another device (Denon HEOS speaker) in same wifi network for sound output. This is not bluetooth - this is direct streaming to speaker but managed from Spotify app installed on PC.

I like you music sound better, but this feature in Spotify is why I am not using Deezer :(

Denon has very limited and ugly heos app with deezer source - no fun using it at all. But via Spotify connect - I have   nice app interface on PC and great sound quality on Denon speaker connected to home wifi.

If it will be there - let me know, will cancel Spotify and get Deezer

Hi, would be nice if have a button to share your profile to your friends, like copy and paste Url, it’s just possible to do that opening your account on the browser and copying the Url from there.

Great suggestion @darkdevil1988 we might be considering something similar in the near future.

Hey, @Nikla3 we're developing a feature for better app connectivity, please register your vote here:

And we're also supporting HEOS so that they can add HiFi to their app via our integration :thumbsup_tone2:

Thanks @DerekMoon will pass it on :relaxed:
FOR EVERYONE, please bear in mind that this thread is just to give you instructions on how to post your suggestions in our ideas forum:

https://en.deezercommunity.com/ideas

Don't forget to search for your suggestion first, and if you can't find anything similar, create a separate thread for other users to vote. You can use this thread here to do what @JackTheRipper79 did, to 'advertise' his idea to others

Hm, does anyone else find that last.fm scrobbling sends the scrobble at strange points in the song? Like right at the end or right at the beginning?

I think most scrobbling services send it halfway through the song or after say 3 minutes (whichever is sooner). I think that system is good so maybe it could be implemented? I'm not sure what the current system is on Deezer.

Thank you for not making me rely on separate apps though for scrobbling because I can't find a single one that works on my version of Android Go (which is fairly recent).

Thanks! :)

Hey @Hoppimike

We've been in need to improve our Last.fm integration for quite some time now - but it's on our radar.

Vote here for now:

Thanks a lot for your comments as well, I've passed the on :relaxed:
