Google Home Ireland

I think it's time to move to Spotify premium it's ridiculous that Deezer can't give a timeframe of when it is being rolled out in Ireland given that it's in the UK already. Very disappointing Deezer.

Please provide the expected timeline for release. It is farcical that we are waiting so long without any clear information from Deezer. We are paying a subscription that effectively is inferior to other Deezer users when we are precluded from the full service offering. I now find myself with a free Spotify account providing my music at home. Why should I keep Deezer when the competition delivers?????

I am afraid based on the posts above and lack of any helpful response from Deezer I will also be cancelling my Hi-fi account for Spotify. It amazes me that the responses are so poor.

So I got 3 months free Deezer premium with my LG speaker from Currys.
Pretty poor that 8 months after the thread started, Deezer doesn't seem interested in providing a solution for customers in Ireland

We spend the same amount on deezer in Ireland and no responses. We just want what everyone else gets. Was delighted getting my Google home thinking I'd be able to play my music on it but no.
Give us a date or just tell us there's no plans for it.

Hi Anja/Deezer,

If you cannot provide us a release date for support, can you please provide information on why you are offering your service in only a select number of EU countries? In the european digital single market, all services should be available to all member states and there should be no price discrimination.

In this case, you have your service operating in France and Germany and the UK (for now) who are in the EU. Please provide a date for when your service will be available in Ireland or, advise how I can open a complaint with a tracking number to get an official answer.

This is an idea topic, not a question topic. As shown above, this idea is on discussion, but we still don't have any news from Google Home and Deezer's product team. We will keep passing the feedback on to the right team and hopefully soon we will be able to bring you good news 😉

I have to say I am very disappointed. I have no problem linking Deezer to my Amazon Echo, but I got a new Google mini and I wanted to link it as well and I can't. We have the European HQ's for all these big companies, but Ireland is at the end of the line when it come to rolling out products and services. I am really not impressed 😞

I have had a Deezer subscription for many years now and am getting exasperated by the lack of response from Deezer as to when Deezer will work on Google Home in Ireland. It is not as if I am asking for a "freebie". I pay the same subscription as all other countries!
Most other countries have it and the most annoying aspect is that there is total silence from Deezer as to when they expect to have it operational.. It is as if their customers in Ireland don't matter and are an irrelevance to them.

I will give this four more weeks and if I don't get an answer that provides a definitive date, I intend to cancel my subscription and move to Spotify.

Hi John, we have passed this feedback on to Google Home and hopefully they will decide to get it available in Ireland some time soon!
