Hi all,

We wish to collect some of your feedback on Flow, that's why we are opening a new dedicated thread for you to share your feelings on this feature.

Do you like it? Why? What do you think we are missing?

Please be as detailed as you can in your comments, cheers!

I was also at first disappointed with the recommendations, but you need to learn Flow.  Play play play, everything you love and give hearts to your favorite songs and playlists and albums, add as many of your favorite artists and play play play and ban artists you don't like and Flow will soon catch your note.  I am very satisfied.  But you have to make friends and devote time to it.

Yes, indeed. Let it learn.

On first day lame, now it is much better than Google’s Feeling lucky which was okay, but always played same favourites over and over and over again. On Deezer I hear new tracks, new favorites, old classics over and over and over again. Today I paid ONE YEAR in advance for this great service.

Pay 10 months and get 12 months is their annual discount. I paid years for Spottily and then GPM receiving no discounts for loyalty. This is my new home for hard dance music since 29.06.20.

They gave me option to keep 2 months I already had trial. They suggested next time I need to cancel with them, go free, and buy annual again with discounted prices unless they give better ways.

I like flow, I like mixes, this service is good bargain at 99,90 a year for this amazing quality.

It works like a charm when something is great.

This is great, worth to pay.

Hi @Steve.Cullum, thank you for your message.

I wanted to inform you that I have already replied to your question in the other post.

I’m just going to add another voice to the idea that it would be a very useful feature to be able to queue songs to Flow and Mixes.  Oftentimes, when discovering new music, it is completely reasonable to want to queue more songs from an artist that just came on on Flow or a Mix.  Having to break out of the Flow just to listen to a few more songs is a bad UX, and would be fixed by just allowing users to add to the queue of Flow or the Mix.  This is a bad design choice that is preventing me (and I suspect other users) from doing deeper dives on new artists because we can only listen to the one song provided by Flow.

I don’t know why you keep refusing to add this feature as I have now seen multiple threads asking for it because it would be a very useful feature, and completely ignorable by people that don’t want to queue songs when using Flow.  Sometimes users know what they are talking about.

i have been a deezer user since its inception over a decade ago and i love it, it is my only streaming service even though i have others.

Flow however i think is a great idea, but there are too many repeats, i have only been listening to one flow today and already i have had about 20 repeats.

I listen to deezer to avoid repeats, flow should not repeat in the same day!

@oilwarzonedotcom thanks for your support all these years.
I think it is a very good idea to not repeat songs in Flow in the same day and I’ll definitely pass the feedback.

@MJmusicguy There have been improvements after that test and our devs are constantly working on a better user experience when it comes to Flow.
All feedback is very much appreciated.
Thanks

@Jaime.Deezer  wondering if we can actually out in a true generative AI?

I wish Deezer had a way to exclude playlists from taste profile, like Spotify has. I have a video game music Playlist i use to sleep, so Flow thinks i simply love video game OST no matter what I do.

I used to love it, now it sucks and I'm thinking of canceling.  It keeps playing artists I've told it to not recommend.  Just yesterday I spent about 15 minutes giving thumbs down to country artists, only to hear them again today.  I've been using Deezer for years, and have a ton of favorites, but only hear about the same 10 songs in between all of the country music I hate.

I used to use Flow, but now I’m finding it really boring.  I’m not sure if you’ve changed an algorithm or what, but it is getting repetitive - often playing the same songs that I don’t particularly like.  It has somehow decided that I like American Country and French Music - those are ok, but why solely focus on those two?  There is heaps of other music I want to hear.  It is disappointing, and honestly making me consider changing to Spotify.  I find it weird when I have literally thousands of songs I like that Flow has to be so narrow in variety.  I find the best way for me to get good music is for me to pick one of my favourites, and then click “Launch Track Mix”.  That works really well.  But why can’t Flow just do this automatically gradually working its way through my thousands of favourites?  There is heaps of great music out there - it would be great if Deezer could better get that music to me.
