Editing Playlist Description missing on Deezer Mobile App

I just noticed that with the new updates to the Mobile App, the playlist description feature was removed.

While the Playlist Description is still present in the Web app, the feature is missing on the Mobile apps - important in introducing the listener on what the playlist is all about.

Was this removal by mistake or deliberate? I really really find this feature useful to playlists I create especially those that get me fans - helps introduce them to what they should expect from the list. Can we have it back please?

I've had a chat with our devs about this feature and I can confirm that it was removed from our mobile apps recently - I'm waiting to hear more about it so that we can share it with you :pray_tone2:

In what device, OS and Deezer app versions is this happening on? I'll speak to our devs about it!

It’s on Samsung S 20 Ultra Android 10 device, I have seen the same is the case with Android 10 on Samsung A Series.

Deezer Version: 6.2.25.64

I think they could remove it on web as well?

Rest assured I want it back mobile, for many people mobile is number one device to use now.

Most people even edit lists only on mobile, many do not have even computers.

Mobile app is when I can spend my summer day, that happy happy place!

When enjoying summer days like these I do not have access to computers or laptops.

Playlist needs to have options to be edited like on Web app, it’s that important. Thanks.

Hello @Rudi, 

Do you have any updates on where this stands now?

I’m a regular user and generator of playlists and it gets frustrating that if I edit my playlists on Mobile, it deletes the description and I have to go back to the Web app edit the playlist and retype in the description... :disappointed_relieved:

Every time I edit a playlist from my phone, the description gest deleted.

Plus, did you remove the hability to add a description from the API ? I’m getting frustrated and pissed of by Deezer, which prefers to do more interface updates than listening to user requests.
