All the music I painstakingly imported now have lost their covers. So this recent update has not only removed our capacity to sort music, but also limited imported music? Is there anything else that's been changed? I'm so disappointed.

Update: I also see they removed the artist name as well that would usually be under the song name...

Hello @Skies thanks for your post and sorry to hear that cover arts are gone.

Did it just happen with that tracks on your playlist, “J-Music”?

I just check through a web browser and I can see all the covers for the songs you share in the screenshot.

Could you try to clear the cache and if that doesn’t work, clear Data (option under Data and Storage in the Deezer app)?

If the issue persists, please delete the app, and reinstall it from the Google Play Store.

About your second question, I can see on my Android device, song name and artist.

What is your Deezer app version?

This is also a persistent issue on my other phone, which is Android. Considering I haven't done anything, I believe it has to do with the recent update. This issue was also highlighted by a staff member (they had the same problem). Please notify the team of this issue.

To further add onto this issue. The actual "My MP3" playlist is fine and looks like this:

Once you add any of these songs to another playlist, they lose their album cover and artist.

I did all of this and the issue still persists. Seems to be a mobile/Android based issue, as there are no problems on desktop for me.

As you can see in my prior comment, album cover and artist still exist in the My MP3 playlist, but when you transfer any of the songs to other playlists, it ceases to have those details.

Please inform the Dev team and let me know if there's anything else I can do.

Hi @Skies is this still happening as we have not being able to reproduce it on our side.
Thanks

Yes, this is still a persistent issue. I have provided screenshots to a thread to show others are having the exact same issue. You can see a comment highlighting the problem even from yesterday. It is maybe a system specific issue, as I don't see this problem on the computer. It persists on both of my Android devices.

I highlighted this issue 3 weeks ago, and it pretty much started concurrently with the sorting changes. I suggest the team looks at that specific update, or any updates made very close to that time. To reiterate, I have deleted the cache, reinstalled the app, and the issue still persists.

Hi @Skies! Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

I’ve already shared this issue with our developers, and as soon as I have any updates, I’ll let you know. 😊
