        There are many advantages to using Deezer instead of another provider.

        At the moment, however, I think the ability to identify AI‑generated tracks is the biggest benefit.

        But as I mentioned, Deezer offers several advantages that are highlighted here.

        And I certainly don’t want to speak badly about the other services, because I don’t think Apple Music is bad at all. I just hope more people will discover Deezer and notice these benefits as well, if they’re willing to try Deezer for a month and look at the possibilities and advantages rather than focusing only on the drawbacks.

          I don’t want to be that guy but the second half of the following sentence is misleading at best.

          I don’t see how we translate the numbers below into “a competitive rate compared to the rest of the market”.

          According to the following chart from https://rebelmusicdistribution.com/2025/08/22/which-streaming-service-pays-the-most-per-1000-streams-in-2025-top-5-platforms/  Deezer barely beats the absolute worst offenders -- Spotify, $3-$5 and Amazon Music, $4-$6 per 1000 streams.

          Approximately, Tidal pays out 100% more than Deezer, while Qobuz and Napster pays out 200% more than Deezer per stream -- even Apple pays out 30-50% more…

          Deezer had a competitive rate at one point but the market has changed and I don’t think Deezer can make this argument anymore…

                I’m with Deezer for various reasons . I started with Deezer because back then it was the only streaming service available in my country but then I started to be more involved in the community and loved the people so while I started with the service due to the fact it was the only one available I stayed because I love to use the platform and enjoy the community  

                To be honest being not a very big company and still be here 19 years later where you have competition from much bigger and Reacher companies as Apple music ,Spotify and YouTube Music is not easy and sometimes I don’t even understand how Deezer managed to achieved that and be here for so long . Deezer is not that big and that’s one of the reason I like this service so much . The engagement with the company on social platforms and here is great , at least in my opinion . 

                I always liked the UI and the way the app look , At first I wasn’t so happy about the new branding . It was weird . But I must say it grown on me . Purple is my favourite colour and see this purple everywhere makes the app and the entire brand looks great in my opinion . Sound quality is fantastic as well . Also Deezer is using ACPS system to pay artists which is better for small artists and I do support that approach  . Another major thing in my opinion is the AI flag. As someone who into tech and using AI tools on daily basis I fell AI on music is bad , very bad . Music is art and I don’t want my music to get manipulated by AI ,That’s why I love the approach of labelling AI music on the platform.

                Monthly listening stat is fantastic for music geeks who likes to see listening statistics. This is one of my favourites features on Deezer . Including the monthly playlist

                I’ll take this opportunity to suggest a few improvements :
                Active API - I would like to see an active API with an updated set of calls , including the smart playlists which are currently not part of the API . Bring the API back will allow us to get creative and make a lot of third party extensions and apps for Deezer which can brings more users as well .

                Improving FLOW - FLOW is the biggest feature on Deezer and it’s what makes Deezer unique . I would like to see continues FLOW improvements ( The latest FLOW tune is a good start in the right direction ) 

                There are still a lot of things I would like to see in Deezer and looking forward for the brand to achieve more in the future .
